STILL/OPEN WORKSHOP

An opportunity exists for 15 people to take a workshop on the practice and theory of open source approaches as applied through networked art and software
development, print and online publishing, and in the scientific arena.

The Lab will take place during September and will take the format of a series of workshops and forums in three locations across Australia.

Melbourne: 6,7th September
Perth: 11,12th September
Brisbane: 15,16th September

Workshop Facilitators Beatriz da Costa (USA), Andy Nicholson (Aust.) and
Alessandro Ludovico (Italy) will work with 15 participants including artists,
scientists, writers and developers in each city to introduce modes of thinking
and resources for open source, collaborative and distributed development; to
provide hands on experience; and to initiate local networks and projects.
